TOUR DE BADEN

MOTIVATING YOUTH IN SPORTS EXPERIENCING BIODIVERSITY SHAPING THE FUTURE TOGETHER

Welcome to TOUR DE BADEN, a special regional edition of our yearly international initiative TOUR DE COP.

Taking place in Germany for the first time in July 2025, TOUR DE BADEN is dedicated to promoting sports, environmental awareness, and biodiversity protection.

Held under the patronage of H.R.H. Bernhard, Margrave of Baden, and in cooperation with the State Palaces and Gardens of Baden-Württemberg, this event will unite students, professionals, and environmental advocates in an unforgettable cycling journey through history and nature.

About TOUR DE BADEN

PARTICIPATION & INCLUSION

TOUR DE BADEN continues the TOUR DE COP legacy of engaging students from German and Swiss international schools and universities. Alongside young participants, the tour also includes:

Entrepreneurs and sponsors supporting sustainability initiatives

Musicians and cultural contributors enriching the experience

Local communities and dignitaries strengthening regional ties

Inclusion advocates, like in our previous edition 28 when we had a visually impaired participant demonstrating perseverance and breaking barriers

By fostering cross-cultural dialogue and promoting an active lifestyle, TOUR DE BADEN encourages youth to push their limits and take responsibility for our environment.

SPONSORS & SUPPORTERS

TOUR DE BADEN offers a unique platform for sponsors to commit to a meaningful cause.

By supporting this initiative, businesses and individuals help promote sports, environmental consciousness, and regional networking.

Opportunities for sponsors include:

Brand exposure along the route and through media coverage

Networking with high-profile dignitaries, industry leaders, and young talents

Supporting educational and environmental causes with real impact.

The route spans over 500 km, starting in Mannheim on July 4th and concluding at Schloss Salem on July 11th.

Participants will cycle through breathtaking landscapes and visit iconic historical sites, including:

  • Schloss Heidelberg

  • Schloss Bruchsal

  • Schloss Karlsruhe

  • Schloss Rastatt

  • Baden-Baden

  • Freiburg

  • Weil am Rhein

  • Schaffhausen & Rhine Falls

  • Kreuzlingen & Konstanz

This multi-stage journey is designed to inspire participants to appreciate the biodiversity and cultural heritage of the region while fostering international exchange and collaboration.

LEGACY & IMPACT

TOUR DE BADEN builds upon the success of previous TOUR DE COP editions:

TOUR DE COP 27 (2022): Cairo to Sharm El Sheikh ahead of COP27

TOUR DE COP 28 (2023): Muscat to Dubai ahead of COP28

TOUR DE COP 29 (2024): Tbilisi to Baku ahead of COP29

Each edition has been supported by local German Chambers of Commerce (AHK), German embassies, and high-ranking officials, with over 20 European ambassadors joining various stages. TOUR DE BADEN now brings this tradition to Germany.
